Job Description

My client is a busy Domiciliary Care company, covering about 1000 hours of care per week, delivering to around 200 service users. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a Branch Manager to be responsible for Branch Support Team (Area Managers, Area Deputies, Recruitment and Training Officer) and Care Assistants. The main purpose of the role will be to develop and grow the company in line with strategies put in place by the company; ensure the branch works in compliance with policies and procedures; to manage the financial performance of the branch; and delivering services in line with CQC requirements and in adherence to Care Standards Act 2000 and subsequent domiciliary care regulations. As an experience Manager, with a background in Domiciliary care, you will be expected to lead, manage, motivate and inspire your staff to excel in outstanding levels of care. Successful candidates must have achieved GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English and will have, as a minimum, NVQ 4 Social Care / Registered Manager\'s Award. If you have a Degree in Social Care or are a Registered Nurse this would be extremely desirable. You will need to have gained previous experience of management in a social care environment - eg. Domiciliary or residential home, local authority, broker and must have a full, clean UK Driving Licence. You will be a flexible individual, prepared to cover weekend and evening shifts when required.
