Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a major IT Services (Outsourcing) organisation for a Senior Commercial Manager to play a prominent role in one of their most high visibility business units situated within their Government Division. Located primarily in the Thames Valley area, you will need to have a robust and assertive character, be highly self-motivated with good interpersonal and in particular, effective man-management skills, and believe you have the influencing skills to succeed in a highly professional organisation.

This role is extremely high profile and it is essential that you can demonstrate experience of sound contract management, good analytical skills, negotiating complex services and/or solutions contracts, and articulate your knowledge and know-how around deal shaping, bidding processes, negotiating and closing strategies, evaluating and balancing risk, best practice in contracts management, and dealing with post signature contract changes. Government or defence sector experience would be preferable.

We are urgently seeking applicants as our client will be shortlisting selected candidates shortly.

Applications can only be considered from candidates with the legal right of residency and authority to work in the UK and with no restrictions to attain UK Government security clearance to SC level.
