Recruitment Specialist - Aerospace/Defence Industry
Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
£23,000 - £30,000 Plus Stakeholder Pension Scheme

Our client is the European subsidiary of a global inspection, auditing, supplier management and consulting company, who focus on the aerospace, military and other high reliability industries. With more than 30 years\' experience, they are the premier source of technical service personnel and information management services for efficient supplier base management and programme performance. An opportunity has now arisen for a Recruitment Specialist to join their team.

As a Recruitment Specialist you will be responsible for indentifying qualified candidates to work in the aerospace industry on a contract basis. These candidates will include auditors, inspectors, engineers and supplier managers.

Your focus will be on networking and talking to potential candidates. You will also network with companies in UK and across Europe to see if any employees wish to work for our client on a contract basis.

Your duties will include:
- Sourcing candidates, through cold calls, referral mining, job postings, networking and list generation
- Phone pre-screening: contacting potential applicants via phone and conducting a pre-screening interview
- Candidate qualification: ensuring candidates take required tests and pass background checks; arranging interviews
- Identifying recruitment needs and researching techniques for developing approaches to bring in qualified candidates
- Assisting in writing job descriptions and issuing appropriate contact documentation

To be considered for the role of Recruitment Specialist, you will need to come from a solid recruitment background and be used to dealing with people on the phone.

Although not essential, having any or all of the following would be an advantage:

- A degree (or equivalent)
- Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO 9001 environment experience
- Experience of technical and international recruitment
- Experience in the aerospace or defence industry
